For all of my Animal Kingdom Lodge fans this is some good news! The Jambo House will be opening August 26th and booking for the resort opens on June 16th. This isn’t the only resort opening back up but I am excited for its return because I love to visit this resort. I am also excited for the opening of Jambo House because the food at Animal Kingdom Lodge is amazing so the next step to reopening the hotel will be to open the restaurants which I know many people are waiting to hear news on that. The list of restaurants located at Jambo House and Kidani Village is a long one and a loved one because so many of the dining locations here are fan favorites. For example, I know many people are missing Jiko and Boma and I think that shortly after reopening these restaurants will start to open back up to guests.
The other resorts that are opening soon are the BoardWalk Inn and the Polynesian Village Resort. Both of these resorts have been partially open due to the fact they both have Disney Vacation Club sections to the hotels and DVC areas of resorts have been open for a while now. These two resorts are opening in July which is sooner than Animal Kingdom Lodge but it is great to see that slowly but surely resorts are starting to open up. I hope with the opening of the BoardWalk Inn the boardwalk its self will start to open again and offer the entertainment opportunities that is use to like Jellyrolls, carnival style game and street performers.
I miss resort hopping nd enjoying food from different resorts so I am very excited about the reopening of resorts on property so that I can go back and enjoy the offerings each hotel has. This also makes me excited that travel is coming back and will eventually get back to how it use to be which sucks for reservation making at the resorts but as a local this helps Orlando’s economy and work force which is very important.
