Today is July 1st and tonight Happily Ever After will light up the sky again for guests at Walt Disney World. On Jun 29th Disney did a cast member preview of Happily Ever After which included free Mickey Ice cream sandwiches and Mickey premium bars. The night also consisted of other surprises like Jordan Fisher coming on the stage of the castle and singing Happily Ever After with Cast Members.
While watching clips and vlogs of this night I couldn’t help but cry because I have missed fireworks so much. I get emotional because its not just fireworks but its a symbol of things slowly getting back to normal and that gives me hope. The firework show itself is all about dreams, hope and reaching out to your happily ever after what ever it may be.
Prior to Happily Ever After the fireworks show was Wishes which was a beautiful show that tugged my heart strings as well. That show was all about wishing and watching your dreams come true.
The difference between these two shows are the projections and the music that is included in the show. Disney kept “Go The Distance” from Hercules in the show because it was a huge hit in Wishes but the one in HEA is a different version of the song.
I am so excited to stand/sit in front of the castle and watch the projections take over Cinderella’s Castle and watch the sky illuminate with fireworks. The atmosphere at Magic Kingdom is different when there’s fireworks because guests sing a long with the music and you can feel the emotions fill the park.
The Magic is truly back at Magic Kingdom, now all we need are for parades to come back!
